That’s quite some collection you’ve got there
If only. This is a selection (yes, there were lots more) of Porsche race cars from the Rennsport Reunion held recently at Daytona Beach, Florida. The event runs every three years, organised by Brian Redman (of Can-Am and F1 fame) and his son James with a helping hand from Stuttgart.
-- Someday, for some reason, you might find yourself in Jaworzno, Poland. And if you're there, you might drive down Grunwaldzka and make a right on Krolowej Jadwigi (we've never been to Jaworzno, actually) and end up at the Jeff Hanneman Circle Pit, a roundabout named after the late guitarist from Slayer and, therefore, the most badass road junction in the universe. The traffic circle could -- and should -- also double as a demolition derby for FSO Polonezes.
At the 113th Army-Navy Game on Dec. 8, Chevrolet and students from Michigan Technological University unveiled a new hand cycle designed to make it easier for wounded vets to compete in racing events, including marathons. General Motors CEO Dan Akerson said GM will build 10 prototypes for use by the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans in marathons across the country.
